How does Brad Pitt, H.G. Wells, Susan Sontag, Will Smith, Roger Scruton, Rock Hudson and American 50's melodrama all in one place sound to you? How do Sci Fi films - and don't - give us the answer to our Corona Virus predicament?

I want to examine why science fiction films about the Science-hero give us the wrong answer to our global pandemic.
