CINDIE partners with VIDAA increasing its presence in Latin America and Brazil

Hisense, the leading Smart TV manufacturer in the world, announced today the integration of CINDIE, the streaming service which offers the widest collection of independent film and TV in Latin America, to its VIDAA Connected TVs (CTVs) for users in the region.

“The television industry is evolving, and what’s driving the change is offering a better user experience. The VIDAA platform fulfils users’ needs by providing everything they need, including essential global and local content, an intuitive way of finding content, and a user experience that is at the forefront. I am pleased to say that, along with CINDIE, we will improve our offer and facilitate a high-quality content delivery to Latin America and Brazil”, stated Nick Ruczaj, VP and Global Content and Business Development Director at VIDAA International.

"Thanks to this collaboration with Hisense and VIDAA, millions of people will have access to a special curation of independent films and exclusive series”, said Maurice van Sabben, CEO of CINDIE. "Our titles stand out for their high quality and are thoughtfully chosen with a focus on Latin American audiences, where DMD has been distributing content since 2016. We select productions from all over the world, including great titles with acclaimed talent, as well as smaller productions that every movie lover should know.  A collection intended for an audience interested in something new, something that goes beyond Hollywood’s traditional argument”.
