CINDIE acquires Paus to bring a groundbreaking multi-platform offer to distributors and subscribers

This transaction brings together CINDIE’s expertise in content quality and distribution, and Paus’ innovative tech.

CINDIE and PausTV announce their transaction under which CINDIE  has acquired the Paus TV technology platform and content assets to allow the companies to combine their technology and content platforms into a next-generation content branding and delivery platform, focused on distributing the world’s best independent feature films and TV series across all windows and emerging technologies.

The combined platform will leverage the market-leading distribution network of CINDIE across all VOD windows with the Paus Web3 technology platform to create a distribution business that will securely deliver the best indie content across owned, operated and third party platforms, as well as via blockchain. This coupling of innovation and premium IP is a powerful offering in LATAM, which is currently the 7th largest Web3 market and 2nd fastest-growing streaming market in the world.

As a result of the acquisition, Rishi Kapoor, the founder and CEO of Paus will join the board of CINDIE.

Tony Kelly, CEO of CINDIE and Daniel Sandelson, Non-Executive Board Member stated: “We are delighted to welcome Paus to our company. The logic of our cooperation is strong, and we are now able to offer film-makers, sales agents and distributors a multi-technology branded platform to access film and TV enthusiasts worldwide via all VOD, and the creation of added value through unique tokenised digital products such as NFTs.”

Rishi Kapoor, founder and CEO of Paus said “I'm incredibly honoured to see Paus become part of CINDIE’s growing media empire. CINDIE is the perfect home for our business, our content library and our rich community. We are all very excited to see how the combined offering is going to accelerate the growth of their business, and stretch the boundaries of their creativity."
